“Isn’t that just for preschoolers?â€
“Isn’t that for super smart people?â€
“You really went to a Montessori school?â€
“Is that a real place?â€
I always answered their questions, even the ones that questioned if it was a real place, and told them that I was beyond prepared for high school because of my Montessori education. Six years later, as I go through college, I have come to the realization that the Montessori education I received in elementary and middle school did more than just prepare me for high school- It prepared me for college, too.
Montessori taught me how to study, how to take notes, and how to work independently; how to set goals and chase them as well as how to become a self-motivated learner.

Don’t forget about GL Scrip when making purchases and earn FREE money for tuition!
Did you know that you can earn rebates toward your MSBG tuition just by shopping at your regular stores and dining at your usual restaurants? So far this year, 30 participating families have earned a total of $4,023.87 in rebates toward their tuition. One family alone has earned $760 in tuition rebates in just 9 months by using GL Scrip.
How does it work? Every week our school places an order for gift cards from all types of retailers including Walmart, Home Depot, Chili’s, Amazon.com, Elder Beerman, and hundreds of other establishments. Each purchase earns a tuition rebate from anywhere between 2% and 18% of your purchase depending on the store. Ordering cards is very easy. We have all participants set up their account so there is a direct link to your checking account and the amount of your purchases is automatically deducted. You simply need to logon and place your order before 8:00am on Monday and then stop in the front office anytime after 9am on that same Thursday to pick up your cards. There are also many vendors that send you e-certificates immediately so you don’t have to wait. The front office tracks your rebates and you will receive weekly rebates. Login to www.shopwithscrip.com to check out all that is available. Send an e-mail to Alisa.Suelzer@gmail.com if you would like to have detailed registration instructions sent to you. Earning free money has never been easier!

Kroger Rewards - 4th Payment has arrived!
For those of you participating in the Kroger Rewards program, the 4th quarterly payment has arrived! You need to log in to your Kroger account online and print out the benefit that was paid on your behalf. If you then turn in this statement to the school office, we will credit your tuition account for that amount. Be sure to have any of your friends and family that signed their cards up with Montessori as their charity to print out their statements as well. We will need all statements turned in to the office no later than Monday, March 16. After that time, any remaining benefit will be donated to the CAPE parent association and the school scholarship fund.
