Dear Partner,

We greet you in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I pray you will always know how much He loves and cares for you and your loved ones.  Nahum 1:7

The Almond Tree Christian Academy (ATCA) students participated in the Christmas Service. They work hard and are being instructed in the ways of the Lord in a loving environment.  God knows their very beginnings and, we know, He has great plans for their future.   After the service we shared a Christmas meal together  and gave thanks to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for all His provisions.

The Almond Tree Christmas Outreach Program was a blessing to all! Thirty–five families and approximately one hundred and fifty children were involved in the Program. The hampers, turkeys, and gifts were delivered by horse and sleigh .   As we went from house to house, on the Key First Nation, the children wanted to ride on the sleigh and help deliver the packages.  It was a joyous occasion with the singing of Christmas Carols, much laughter and a sleigh full of children.  Hearts were touched!  The photo on the right shows the delivery of food hamper and gifts to a family and the elder standing in the doorway receiving a turkey is one of our oldest residents on the Key First Nation. She has been a constant faithful caregiver to many grandchildren, some of whom are pictured in the photo.  We are seeing family members who were once addicted to drugs and alcohol now serving Jesus and they are raising their children in Christian homes.  Their witness is helping to change others and the cycle of violence and addictions is being broken. Glory to God forever and ever!   Pastor Allan with newly elected Chief David Cote (Daryl) and Council Members.

Band elections for the Key First Nation were held in December and a new chief and council were elected.  It was a great honour to be asked to pray at the “swearing in” ceremony on January 20, 2015.  I had the oportunity to bring a message  and annoint each with oil and pray for them individually.                                                                                                                                                                                         Pastor Albertine LeBlanc of Voice of Hope Ministries in Blackville, New Brunswick, preaching at Almond Tree Ministries Church.

Regina Correctional Centre where Carole & I visit once a month.
Regina Correctional Centre, where Almond Tree Ministries visits inmates and presents the gospel at Chapel Service once a month.

Carol and I minister monthly in Regina Correctional Center and once again  we will be doing monthly visits to  Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert beginning March 15th. Prison Ministry is very close to our hearts.   We have wonderful volunteer teams some of whom were in prison themselves and/or drug addicts and alcoholics and now serve Jesus. They have been trained, discipled and prepared for a life of service through the Almond Tree Ministries Bible Institute (ATMBI).  There are others in prison presently who wish to attend ATMBI upon their release.  Many from our First Nation communities are in the prison system.  Please be in prayer for all those who are behind bars.  Please be in prayer for us and help us to help them as we travel many miles to get to the prisons; a tank of gas, a meal, a night’s accommodation or sponsorship for a student for ATMBI would be a blessing.  You can be part of bringing a message of hope full of God's grace and love to those incarcerated.

Snow Removal High Priority

These children attend Almond Tree Christian Academy (K-12), located next to the Key First Nation in Saskatchewan.  Almond Tree Ministries was donated a snow plow truck to help keep the roadway and school playground cleared of snow.  This is a remote area and roads can be very bad in the winter.  Temperatures can drop to wind chill of -40 C. The truck, which has a plow attachment, had to go in for repairs last year (2014).  The repairs were completed several months ago and the garage owner will release the truck once he receives the payment of $5000.  We are in the midst of winter and the storms are here.  The children want to attend school and we want to show them that their education is a priority.  Any donation support you can give to get this snow plow truck back on the road would be a great blessing and much appreciated!
