Canada Games TV TODAY surpasses 33,000 views, reaches 84 countries worldwide

Nineteen days and 22 episodes later, we can say that the inaugural Canada Games TV TODAY show was a huge success.

With over 33,000 views and counting, the show was watched by fans in more than 84 countries worldwide.

ViaSport would like to recognize and thank the 26 production and broadcast students from BCIT, Fanshawe College, Confederation College, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Loyalist College and Seneca College who made this show possible.

For the past two weeks, Ashley McMullin took a break from her day job as 
knowledge management specialist at ViaSport, to dedicate her time to Team BC at the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

We are extremely proud to share that Ashley was awarded the SAGE Most Valuable Supporter Mission Staff Award for her work with ringette, squash and badminton.

In recognition of the central role sport plays in enriching the lives of British Columbians and in celebration of the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George, Coralee Oakes, Minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development, has proclaimed 2015 The Year of Sport in British Columbia.

British Columbia’s proclamation joins jurisdictions and organizations across the country to promote Canada’s position as a leading sport nation.

Up Up, Down Down - Tickle the Kitty - Superman! These are Dean Kriellaars instructions for a core workout that doesn't just strengthen your muscles, but teaches your brain to move your muscles.

Kriellaars, has been touring cities throughout BC to spread awareness about physical literacy and ViaSport was lucky enough to have the chance to attend one of his seminars.
