Georgia Rides to the Capitol - Mar. 24

It's the 10th annual Georgia Rides to the Capitol event, expecting 1,000 cyclists to pedal to the Gold Dome to raise support for improved conditions for cycling, including the development of regional systems of both on-road bicycling facilities and multi-use-trails. Start your ride at 9 a.m. from Alpha Bikes in Alpharetta, with police escort! Pace is casual (13-14 mph). More info - call Alpha Bikes at 770-410-1928.

Alpharetta Grand Opening

Doors open at 10 a.m. this Friday & Saturday (Mar. 6-7), and 11am Sunday (Mar. 8). The first 200 people (age 18 and older) through the door on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the 7531 North Point Parkway will receive a limited-edition CamelBak water bottle with a $10, $50 or $100 REI promotional card inside. iCan Bike 
iCan Bike teaches approximately 3,000 people with disabilities how to ride a two-wheeled bicycle each year. From July 13-17 this year, iCan Bike program in Alpharetta will be hosted by The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety and The Alpharetta Public Safety Foundation.  The program will be held at The Cooler Family Skate Center 10800 Davis Dr., Alpharetta, GA 30009.
