WiBRD is a network to support like-minded women to get together in a supportive environment to provide relationships to enhance business, develop friendships and strategic alliances. We endeavour to be an identifiable and respected source of community and regional perspectives, sought by policy makers and drivers.

The strength of WIBRD is you, our valuable members and our ability to empower all women though training, networking and supporting professional women including small business owners, career professionals, up and coming business women and entrepreneurs.

Barbara Beal
Barbara Beal, Pharmacist and manager of the UFS chemist in Mount Gambier will explain where her career and life journey has led her.
Caroline Hill
Caroline Hill is currently employed as Program Manager for Innovative and Community Action Networks. She will enlighten us on her diverse career in providing support to at risk young people, community services to the Limestone Coast region and her role in the South Australian Police Department.

2015 Women in Business Awards

The Influential Women in Business Awards will again be held in 2015 with nominations opening in late March.
This must attend Gala event will be held on August the 14th 2015 at the Barn Palais.
We are very excited to announce that we have secured Katrina Webb as guest speaker at the Awards.
Katrina Webb is recognised and acknowledged for her unique athleticism and outstanding success as a Paralympic athlete. She has won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in athletics at three Paralympic Games. 
Off the track Katrina is the Director of her own business Silver 2 Gold High Performance Solutions. As a qualified physiotherapist and a person that knows how to achieve gold medal results more than once, her business specializes in ‘Turning Silver into Gold’ and improving the performance and health of organisations, teams and individuals.

 Sponsorship Prospectus 2015

Our 2015 sponsorship prospectus has been completed and we are just waiting for the Board to Sign off on final draft. It will be available in electronic form from Friday 28th November and can be downloaded from our website. All existing sponsors will be contacted and an electronic copy of the prospectus will be forwarded by email.

WiBRD 2015 Meet & Greet Event


 









On Friday the 20th of February Women in Business and Regional Development hosted their first event for 2015,
‘Meet and Greet our Sponsors, Members, New Mayor and our New Executive Officer’ at a dinner at one of our Sponsors, the Commodore on the Park. A great night was had by all in attendance.Special thanks to our major Platinum Sponsor, ANZ Bank  for making this all possible.

SCHOLARSHIPS
The Board is considering setting up a scholarship fund in 2015 to assist local women with costs involved with education, training, travel and relocation. If you would be interested in donating to the fund please ask for a copy of the new 2015 Sponsorship Prospectus for more information or contact the Executive Officer Roslyn Taylor at executive@wibrd.org.au
 
ITEMS FOR NEWSLETTER
If you would like  to submit an article for inclusion in our newsletter please send to executive@wibrd.org.au. Articles will be subject to Board approval. We would also  like to hear about any good news our members would like to share. Any articles that particularly interest women are invited as well.

 
ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES
In 2015 there will be opportunities to advertise in our newsletters. Members and Sponsors will have first options as there will only be a certain number of spots available each month. Fees will be set by the Board in December.
