IHE-Europe NEWS Pulse
Dear Members and Friends, 

During the upcoming IHE-Europe Connectathon in Luxembourg (20-24 April 2015) the annual three day conference and exhibition – Med-e-Tel – will also take place at the same venue, starting on 22 April. Med-e-Tel is the annual International eHealth, Telemedicine and Health ICT congress organised by the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH) in Luxembourg. This well-established conference will feature a number of IHE presentations in several sessions:

Wednesday, 22 April
11h00: presentation on Awareness of Connectathon and IHE Symposium.
Wednesday, 22 April 14h00-17h30: IHE Symposium
Interoperability in Practice for eHealth and mHealth
  • Quality in eHealth Interoperability: Conformity Assessment.
  • Interoperability for mHealth applications: New IHE Profiles for mobile use.
  • Unwired Health: Create step-change innovations in mobile patient ICTs.
  • eHealth in the European and International Landscape.
  • Visit to the Connectathon floor during Conformity Assessment Testing session.

18h00-20h00: Joint reception for Med-e-Tel and IHE Connectathon attendees.

Thursday, 23 April
11h00-12h30: presentation on Home Healthcare and Remote Patient Monitoring.
14h00-15h30: presentation on Telecardiology.
16h00-17h30: presentation on eHealth for Low Resource Settings and Developing Countries.

Friday, 24 April
9h00-12h30: presentation on Community Pharmacy and e-Health.
11h00-12h30: presentation on Telehealth: Standards, Security and Interoperability.
