School Shoe Reminder - K-12

For your reference please refer to our Website for Shoes Preschool to Year 2 and Shoes Year 3 to Year 12.

Please be reminded that it is compulsory for K-12 students to wear shoes that meet all Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Students are required to wear clean, black leather, polished school shoes.

Sport shoes may only be worn on Sports Day with the Sport Uniform or for PE lessons and must be either joggers or cross trainers which give adequate support to the ankle and arch of the foot.

Supporting Heart Kids

On Friday 13 February 2015 the staff and students of Penrith Christian School wore red for 'Sweetheart Day'.

Childhood Heart Disease (CHD) affects 32,000 Heart Kids in Australia and Sweetheart Day - which coincides with Valentine's Day as International CHD Awareness Day - raises awareness and much needed funds for research into CHD.

Staff were challenged to raise a minimum of $100 before Sweetheart Day so that Mr Snowden (an avid Sydney FC supporter) would have to wear a Western Sydney Wanderers jersey for the day - this amount was surpassed - the deal was on! Read more ...

Junior School Bounce Back

Did you know that anxiety disorders are becoming one of the fastest growing health issues in our society?

Mental health problems can become debilitating and prevent people from reaching their true potential. Sadly, we are seeing a rise in these problems affecting children.

The good news is that we can help to educate children about emotional intelligence and give them strategies to use that may be of benefit throughout their life. We believe that God has a plan for each child’s life and our aim is to help them on their journey. Read more ...

Second Hand Uniforms

We would like to thank Mrs Zena Wiringi for her work in coordinating and maintaining our second hand uniform site.

If you have items of uniform that you wish to sell, please email Zena at uniforms@pcs.nsw.edu.au and include in your email the exact items of clothing, the sizes and your requested price of the items for sale.

LED Sign

As you would be well aware, we have had our LED sign erected near the school entry gate for several months now. Due to circumstances beyond our control, training has been delayed; however, we are very excited to confirm that very soon we will be able to convey to you the latest information to keep our parent community updated with school activities.

Student Tax File Numbers

The Australian Government is strengthening proof of identity (POI) processes through a standardised national approach for government agencies. The Secondary Schools TFN program does not comply with these guidelines which require sighting and verification of original proof of identity documents.
How can students apply for a TFN?

Applying online and presenting POI documents at a participating Australia Post Office is the fastest and most convenient way for students to get a TFN. More information on applying online can be found at ato.gov.au by searching for ’QC27248’
