Addition of Two Amendments into ICF Constitution
Dear community members,
As announced back in December 2014, based on the community feedback, the Shura proposed to amend the constitution. After the two GB meetings, on January 11th and February 15th, did not produce the quorum, the Shura voted on the proposed amendments as provided in the constitution. The following amendments are now approved and part of the constitution:
Amendment #1 –In addition to the Muslim residents of the City of Frisco and Frisco School Districts, Muslim residents of Cities of The Colony, Celina, Little Elm and Prosper including their respective school districts will be eligible for membership of Islamic Center of Frisco.
Amendment #2 –No more than one immediate family member will be allowed to contest for the position of Shura membership including Ameer and/or Board member. Immediate family member will include spouse, father, mother, son, daughter, sister and brother.
