Home Groups
The Home Group ministry is a very important part of the life of Wallace, fostering fellowship and growth in grace. This ministry has life cycles in our church calendar. We are currently in the winter session which runs from January 11-March 8. Please contact Stephen Coleman at coleman@wallacepca.org if you are interested in joining a group.

GriefShare
Griefshare meets Wednesday nights from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Stephen Coleman's office. You can begin attending GriefShare at any point in the 13-week cycle. It is a good idea to notify Nancy Keegan if you are thinking of coming, especially on a week when we might need to contact participants about a change in plans due to the weather. Please check the Wallace Website under Events if you want more information.

Theology Breakfast
The Theology Breakfast meets each Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 a.m. in the parlor.  A light breakfast is served. The current book being discussed is "God Is Impassible and Impassioned" by Rob Lister. This group is led by David Miner.

DevoLit: Dinner and Discussion
Join us every first and third Wednesday in the parlor at 7 p.m. for good food and great discussion of Thomas a Kempis’ classic 15th-century work, "The Imitation of Christ." For two thousand years, men and women have written about their love for Jesus.  Their texts still offer Biblical insights and spiritual encouragement to us today.   In DevoLit, we read these “old books” for the chance to meet some of our future neighbors in the life everlasting and to be encouraged by the responses to the common struggles of Christian life.

West Side Bible Study Group
The West Side Bible Study Group will meet again on Tuesday March 17, at 10 a.m. at the home of Christiana Rakow, 9112 Crosby Rd., Silver Spring.  Theola Crutcher will lead a study of Joshua chapter 11.  All women are welcome.

Wallace Women's Bible Study
We meet on Mondays from 3:30-4:40 in the parlor and will be studying the book of Deuteronomy. All women are welcome to join us! Please contact Lisa McGovern or Julie Bridges for more information.

Music of the Month for March
Hymn – "The King of Love My Shepherd Is (Irish tune);" Praise Song – "Christ Is Beside Me (St. Patrick’s Breastplate)," Morning Has Broken tune

Bible Memory Challenge

The winter/spring challenge is 1 Peter 1:3-9.  Copies of the music are available upstairs in the Children’s Module.  By the end of February, the students are to learn verses 3-6.  Congratulations to John Thomas Zuba and William Zuba who recited the February challenge.  As we move in to March, we will finish learning the passage.  The music for the verses is on the Christmas CD, tracks 5 and 6.  If you do not have the CD, see Melanie Brockman.

Stepping Stones

Remember that there is a Stepping Stone challenge for every school year from Pre-K through Grade 6.  Do you know what your child’s Stepping Stone is?  It would be great for 100% of the students to receive a certificate on Promotion Sunday at the end of the Spring Quarter.  Copies are available outside the classrooms.
