Meet the Piglets!

On February 10th, we welcomed five bouncing baby boy piglets to our sanctuary. The quintuplets are as sweet and cute as can be. Our caregivers have been keeping a close watch to make sure they are all warm and well-fed and we are happy to report they are all doing great!

The piglets are going to spend the next few months here at the sanctuary until they are old enough to be adopted. In the meantime, follow us on Facebook for their latest antics or you can watch these cuties real-time on our Piggy Cam! Read more about this adorable family here.

Fighting Animal Cruelty

Our Cruelty and Investigations department supports law enforcement and animal control in enforcing our animal cruelty laws and ensuring that crimes against animals are prosecuted. Unfortunately, sometimes those in charge of protecting innocent animals fail to do their jobs and we are forced to intervene.

Preventing Shelter Overpopulation
With an early spring comes an early "kitten season" - increasing the number of unwanted cats who end up in shelters. Pasado's Safe Haven's spay/neuter program is tackling this problem head-on by making spay/neuter services available to those who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it.

Tipper's Happy Ending!
We have a very special happy ending to report! Tipper found his forever home. Many of you may remember that Tipper came to us with a unique medical issue where he would faint or "tip over". After nursing him back to health, we are thrilled that Tipper now has a family of his very own to dote on him and give him the love he deserves. "Happy tails Tipper!"

FALL IN LOVE

Wilbur the Pig Spreads the Love
We recently welcomed sixty 6th graders to our sanctuary as part of our Pasado's C.A.R.E.'s program. These lucky kids got to know Wilbur and the other animals at our sanctuary, while learning about being kind to animals.
