What a wonderful Sunday we had last week. It is so encouraging to hear personal testimonies of God at work in people's lives. Praise God that two people came to faith too.
This Sunday will be Jan Hansen's last Sunday with as she is moving to the North Island to be near family. Jan has been such a wonderful member of our Church family, serving in the children's work for years and many other aspects of Church life. We will be taking time this Sunday to pray with her and farewell her.
Also this Sunday we will be celebrating our children at King's Church. We plan to have a really fun celebratory time of worship (so get your dancing shoes on!). After tea and coffee the pre school age children will go to their usual activities and the school age children will stay in for the final part of the service, which will continue with our series "Just Walk Across the Room". We will have testimonies and some interactive teaching which is suitable for the children and the adults!
After the service we will have a sausage sizzle, bouncy castle and activities for the children. This will be a great service to invite friends and family to.
Please beware that on Sunday there will be two other groups using the facilities so please keep a close eye on your children.
