Removing Obstacles, Reducing Risk

At HARBEC, we believe in the power of long-term relationships. We treat those we serve and work with not as customers, but as business colleagues. As such, we want our colleagues to be as successful as possible. HARBEC is constantly working to advance our manufacturing capabilities as we go above and beyond to deliver the greatest value to our customers while balancing risk, cost, and performance.

In today’s global economy, minimizing risk is essential to business success. Risk is inherent in product design, manufacturing, supply chain sourcing, materials, product packaging and use. Business competitiveness and growth hinges on the ability to mitigate and manage risk, particularly within the supply chain.

HARBEC believes risk is a choice. Although some risks are unknown, many can be avoided, or resolved. In the blog feature of this February Solutions Newsletter we focus on how HARBEC reduces risk and creates value for its customers.  We have also included a press release about HARBEC’s integration of SOLIDWORKS Plastics, a software tool that enables our toolmakers to evaluate a diversity of manufacturability options which allow us to design, build, and operate injection molds with better precision, efficiency, performance, and costs.

HARBEC implements a number of software tools, like SOLIDWORKS Plastics, to ensure we identify risks and to design-in solutions before they become issues for us or our customers.
