Migration Observatory research on BBC Inside Out

Our new analysis of regional migrant populations of England will be featured on BBC Inside Out programmes across England on Friday 6 March at 19:30. Watch your regional programme to find out about the statistics in your area.

Migration in the General Election

The Migration Observatory is helping Full Fact on a project to inform the General Election. We will be producing peer-reviewed briefings on immigration topics, aimed at a public audience as well as the media. Briefings will be published throughout March and April on our Migration in the Election project page.

From 30th March until the election, Full Fact will be operating an 18 hour a day factchecking hub. They will provide rapid responses to the claims coming out of the campaign, drawing on the Migration Observatory's expertise and spokespeople where appropriate.

This project is funded by the Nuffield Foundation and a successful crowdfunding campaign.
