2015 Golf Season, Spring Break Camp, Golf School, Lessons, Leagues

March 1 marks the official start to golf season in Idaho, let's hope the weather continues to cooperate! With the official start of the Idaho golf season, regular season rates will be in affect starting today. If you have not already renewed your IGA membership, you should do so now at your home course pro-shop. IGA members who have renewed their memberships can enter their golf scores starting today as long as the course played is set up for normal season play.
Spring Break Camp at Warm Springs
The annual spring break camp will be held at Warm Springs Golf Course from March 23 through March 28. This daily camp will run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm for students age 7 to 13. All skill levels are welcome to participate in the camp; all aspects of the golf game will be covered. Each student is responsible for their lunch each day and should dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Cost is $250.00 per participant. Call Warm Springs Pro-Shop at 208-343-5661 to sign up.
Do you want to reach your full potential in your golf game but don't want to travel our of the Treasure Valley to a golf school? Jim Empey, PGA golf professional, wants to help you do just that! Jim will be conducting a one-day golf school on select dates throughout the year at Quail Hollow Golf Course. The school will run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm and cover all areas of the golf game and include a playing lesson. A maximum of 6 students per class will allow plenty of individual attention. This is a great opportunity to work on your golf game! The cost is $179.00 per participant; payment is required at time of registration. Call Quail Hollow at 208-344-7807 to register.

Not able to commit to a full-day golf school? Both courses offer a variety of group lessons for juniors and adults throughout the spring and summer.

Twilight Leagues
Now is the time to sign up for Twilight Leagues!! These leagues are open to adults over the age of 18. Playing in a league is a great way to commit to improving your game by playing at least once per week and allows you to meet other golfers.
Quail Hollow Twilight Leagues:
- Women's - Tuesday evenings, 2- lady best ball format. Session 1 runs April 28 - June 30
- Men's - Thursday evenings, 2-man teams in a match play format. Session 1 runs April 16 - June 18
Warm Springs Twilight Leagues:
- Men's - Monday evenings, 2-man teams play varying formats. Starts April 27, 12 weeks of play
- Men's - Tuesday evenings, 4-man teams in match play format. Starts April 28, 13 weeks of play
- Women's - Wednesday evenings, 2-lady best ball format. Starts April 15,14 weeks of play.
