On the customer front we now have nine buildings which we are upgrading to prove the energy efficiency opportunity in different style strata buildings. Retrofit design phases have been completed, agreed with our electricians and products are on their way.

Wattblock held it's third advisory board meeting this week with attendees from the energy, angel, VC and technology sectors. Proceedings opened with our AGSM marketing intern, Shail, presenting her China market review.

We were fortunate to have masterclasses on growth hacking from Pollenizer and Telstra's talented user experience (UX) team reviewed our site. Muru-D also introduced us to an Australian smart buildings startup which has raised over $20m in capital.

Wattblock also attended a 'strata reform' talk by Alex Greenwich, independent State MP, who introduced us to Owners Corporation Network (OCN).
Our customer engagement starts with a free report identifying energy waste in buildings. If you have not already done so, we recommend you create a Wattblock Report for a building.

Is strata better in China or Australia?  Can you have too much democracy?
