The Communications and External Affairs Department (CEAD) is delighted to announce that this month we will begin rolling out our new brand identity to more than 100 Cochrane Groups. Each will be updating their individual websites, their logo, and their chosen colour scheme which allows them to differentiate themselves while forging a closely-related identity as part of Cochrane. This is an important part of Cochrane’s Strategy to 2020 and helps to ensure the brand has even greater impact in the coming years.
We’re working closely with a designated brand contact from each group. All group brand contacts have received their new logo. New websites will be implemented over the next few months. All Cochrane community members are welcomed to visit the Cochrane Community Brand page. This toolkit contains all the templates, stationery, and key brand support documents to assist Cochrane Groups to implement our new, coherent, visual, and written identity. We will be hosting several webinars with our brand contacts and have prepared several ‘How To’ guides, and are answering questions and sharing best practices on the forum.
While the brand launch to the Cochrane Groups is a large undertaking, we have had a tremendous amount of engagement. We’re looking forward to working closely with our brand contacts and would like to thank our ‘guinea pig’ groups that have volunteered to make the transition first and provide feedback. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at cead@lists.cochrane.org.
