The University of Central Florida Vascular Surgery Interest Group (V-SIG) was featured in the winter edition of Simulation Learning, Education and Research Network (SimLEARN) Newsletter for its simulation training conducted at the VHA SimLEARN National Simulation Center.

SAAVS Call for Abstracts
The SAAVS (South Asian Association for Vascular Surgery) has recently announced their 2015 research abstract competition.

The competition is open to ALL fellows, residents and medical students however sponsorship by an SAAVS member is required.

Submissions are due May 1, 2015.

MATCH Day is Almost Here!
This week fourth year medical students learn where they've been matched for residency. 

If you found out you weren't matched with any program, there's still time through the NRMP's SOAP program. 

"Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program® - During Match Week, unmatched and partially matched applicants may participate in the Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program (SOAP) to try to obtain an unfilled residency position."
