Small Groups

The CCH staff lead various small groups throughout the week designed to grow you in the knowledge of our Lord and in fellowship with the staff and other students. Our small groups are open to anyone, and you're welcome to jump in at anytime! Feel free to contact the leader with any questions. All small groups are held in the basement of 704 S. College Ave (the CCH girls' house). Here is a list of groups and when they meet: 

Mondays:
2:00pm – Girls Gone Wise (Lydia/Rebecca) – Rm 2
8:00pm – Nehemiah (Becky) – Rm 2
 
Tuesdays: 
9:00am -- Life Together (Corey) – Rm 2
4:00pm – Truth Project (David) – Rm2

Service Ministries

At CCH we believe you learn to minister by doing ministry, so throughout the week we offer several different times to do ministry alongside our campus ministers. From visiting widows to working with refugees, making hospital visits to helping put on our worship service we have plenty of options to help you grow and see that ministry is a way of life, not just a job. Here are a few you can jump into at any time: 
Children’s ministry    Mondays 3:30-6pm
       Serving Coyote Hill Christian Youth home every other week.
Prison            Mondays 5-10pm
       Help lead a Bible study at Vandalia Women’s Prison
Nursing Home        Tuesdays 3:15-4:30pm
       Visit residents at Columbia Healthcare Center.
Tiger Place Bible Study    Tuesdays 4pm
       Helping lead a Bible study at a retirement home.
Helping Hands        Tuesdays 2-3pm
       Doing various things throughout the community.
Refugee Ministry        Tues 5-6pm
       Help tutor local refugee children.
Tiger Place Church Service Sundays 2pm
       Assist with a church service at a retirement home.
Homeless        Sundays 3pm
       Help prepare and distribute meals to local homeless.


 

Life Groups

Life groups are student led groups focused on growing together in the Word. This semester our life groups are going through the Gospel of John. They meet at various times throughout the week at various locations..Here is a list of leaders, times, and locations for life groups:
