Welcome to ECLC's weekly email for members with kids & youth ages 0-18, teachers & other volunteers, and anyone who wants to be in the know about CYF faith formation at ECLC.
Thank you, ECLC Kids Youth & Families, for your marching feet. Crossing Bridges: Selma to Minneapolis, last Sunday!
This Week
This week we host a special guest during our GR 1-5 opening at 9:45 am on Sunday morning, hearing a firsthand story of immigration from one of our members. All families will also go home with their own "furniture," as a reminder to bring a weekly offering to contribute to our Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS) goal, and the "worry stones" kids made last week. We are a long way from achieving our LIRS goal, and need everyone's help to make it happen!
Everyone is also invited to a soup supper roundtable this Wednesday evening and next, before worship, to discuss the facts of immigration, and our role as a community of faith.
