Annual General Meeting

Te Āwhina Marae - April 3rd - 5th

The 22nd AGM of the Ngāti Rārua Ātiawa Iwi Trust will be held on Saturday 4 April 2015 from 9.00am at Te Āwhina Marae as part of Ohu Maatu 2015.  We warmly encourage all whānau to attend.

Three Ngāti Rārua Trustee vacancies exist.  R. Taylor and J. Banks will retire by rotation.  Both being eligible, they offer themselves for re-election for a further three year term.
With the passing of J Morgan, an election is required to fill the Trustee vacancy for the balance of the term, being one year.
Nominations must clearly stipulate which seats are being sought by the nominee.  You may be nominated for more than one vacancy.  Nomination forms and Section 16 (2) of the Charities Act 2005 declaration forms are available from the office, Level 2, Wakatu House, Montgomery Square, Nelson, phone 03 548 08770.  Nominations close 4.00pm Thursday 26 March 2015.

Registration: Please make sure to visit our home page www.nrait.co.nz to register for the event Ohu Maatu Eventbrite or email info@nrait.co.nz.  To date we have 102 registrations.  We know there are more of you out there wanting to come to this fantastic event so register now to book your seat on the Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle boat.  Registration and accurate numbers will make it easier for your NRAIT staff to plan for meals, accommodation, travel and all the fun and engaging activities we have lined up for you.  There is a parallel programme for tamariki during the AGM so registration is really important for us to make sure all whānau can be involved.  Registration and attendance at the AGM will ensure you have a seat on the Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle boat for our hikoi in the afternoon.
