Concerned Taxpayers of Bow Candidates Sweep Bow Election

Chuck Douglas was elected to the Budget Committee. Eric Anderson, Ben Kinry, Jill Desrochers, and Michael Wayne won Selectmen seats. Chuck has been leading the charge with his Bow Taxpayers group and also now his new newspaper, The Bow Times.

Windham School Board election gets ugly thanks to Selectman Al Letizio

Two incumbent school board members were ousted and instead, two Windham Taxpayer-endorsed candidates, Tom Murray and Daniel Popovici-Muller won those seats. Credit to Ken Eyring, current School Board member, for raising the red flag on the Cenergistic scandal and helping rid Windham of Jerry Rekart and Mike Joanis. Both of these men voted for the almost $600,000 Cenergistic contract before even reviewing the document. Rekart had even once called police on Murray for questioning the Cenergistic issue at a school board meeting.

Bedford
Bedford however, shows no hope of ever reining in their out-of-control school board. Both progressives were elected over the two more sensible candidates, and all spending items passed.

However, Bedford’s grassroots candidate for Town Council John Schneller won a seat despite an attack from the town bullies Bill Greiner and Chris Bandazian who had gone to the Union Leader in an effort to derail him. Since John prevailed by only 8 votes, there will be a recount. We are confident the count will stand.

Note: The tax hike resulting from this school vote will be only $330 this year so that is $3,300 in ten years, plus there will be additional increases each year. Assuming the same increase every year it amounts to $330 + 660 + 990 + 1320 + 1650 + 1980 + 2310 + 2640 + 2970 + 3300 totaling $18,150 of additional taxes spent by the average homeowner over ten years. Worse yet only 1,500 voters decided to spend that money, while 1,200 voters said NO. What about the other 10,000 voters?

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE IMPORTANCE OF TOWN MEETINGS!

Bedford, noted for other craziness, passed an Initiative Petition which is a “Communist idea designed to destroy our Constitution and keep people from being organized or sharing resources to fund candidates” according to one member of the Bedford Taxpayers.

Government should not be able to regulate how we spend our own money to elect those who are supposed to answer to us and serve us, not dictate to us. Meanwhile it does not restrict the media or unions in any way shape or form from showing favoritism.
