Once again, God has used you to win a great victory. As we inventoried the needs of the ministry, we realized that our transportation fleet was worn out. Every vehicle we owned was old, constantly breaking down and often in the repair shop more than on the road. We knew that reliable transportation was not just a desire, but a priority need for the safety of our children, our program participants and our team. As we were considering our transportation needs, we became aware of a time-sensitive opportunity. Invisible Children Uganda was closing their office in Gulu and auctioning their vehicles. We asked them to hold two motorbikes and a Land Cruiser for us, to give us opportunity to raise funds. We immediately began contacting our donors to make them aware of the need and ask for their help in making this purchase. Today we are writing you to say…

Yes, the vehicles are ours. Because of your faithfulness and generosity in giving we took possession of the land-cruiser and the two motorbikes this week. Hallelujah! Please rejoice with us, as we are aware we could not have done this without God moving your heart to give. With this victory in our grasp, we will continue to move forward building our transportation fleet one vehicle at a time. We need $62,400 to fulfill our remaining transportation needs to serve the people in these nations. Following is a list of the items we need:
• Dependable Land Cruiser - for Carole, the Favor Team, and Visitors - $22,500
• Van - for the children - $15,000
• Truck (ISUZU Pickup) - for our animals, construction needs, crusades, equipment, and other field work - $20,000
• 2 More Motorbikes - for field work, radio work, collecting reports, children’s social work, etc. - $3,000
• Motorbike - for Tony’s field pastor and church plant - $1,500
• 6 Bicycles ($150 each) - for Gulu office, team leaders, school teachers, the farm, etc. - $900
