Tuesday was a day of Blood and Guts with Pacific Science Center at School! Many
2nd-5th graders attended the morning assembly and had the opportunity to learn about their bodies through interactive exhibits, such as: assembling/disassembling a model skeleton, testing their peripheral vision, and viewing x-ray films of broken human bones and animal skeletons. PSC staff visited several 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms for focused lessons on the Mind, Vision and Bones. Students were excited about science all day long!

Volunteers Needed for Somerset Auction--Saturday, March 28--Westin Bellevue
Do you love to attend Auctions? Or, are you new to school auctions? Plan to volunteer at the Somerset Auction March 28
th!
Spiritridge has a tradition of reciprocating Auction volunteers several schools, including Phantom Lake, Eastgate, Puesta Del Sol, and Somerset. This is a great way to see how the process works from the inside. Volunteering at a neighboring school Auction also allows our fellow elementary PTSA parents to enjoy their own functions. Most importantly, it builds community among parents across schools.
We will need lots of help the night of our Auction on May 15th and parents from other schools will be there to support us! To sign up, visit their SignUp Genius Auction Volunteer Page
here . Contact Susie Pietz at
sdpietz@comcast.net with questions.
