I wanted to let folks know about some upcoming meetings and events:
Sunday, March 15: St. Patrick's Day Parade -- This major New Haven event begins Sunday at 1:30 pm. Here is a link with details: http://stpatricksdayparade.org/parade-day/. Please note, between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm on Sunday, there will be no bus service to the Green as well as on the following streets:
--Chapel St from Ella Grasso to State St
--Church St from George St to Trumbull St
--Temple St from George St to Trumbull St
--Broadway from York St to Dixwell Ave
--Elm St from York St to Church St
--Dixwell Ave from Broadway to Webster St
--Whalley Ave from Broadway to Sperry St
Starting at 5:30PM, trips will depart from the New Haven Green and follow their regular routes.
Tuesday, March 17, 6:00 pm: Downtown Wooster Square Community Management Team meeting -- We have confirmed that the NHPD will attend and host a conversation about the investigation into the death of Dolores Dogolo, killed crossing Olive St. in October of last year, and the decision not to charge the driver. The meeting will be in Meeting Room #3 of City Hall.

Board of Alders: Special Budget Meeting
All meetings are open to the public. Below is a description of what happens at workshops v. public hearings.
Workshops: The Committee reviews budgetary matters with officials of the agencies scheduled. Public attendance is encouraged, but public testimony is not allowed.
Public Hearings: The Committee solicits testimony from members of the general public regarding the City.
Location: All meetings will be held in the Aldermanic Chamber, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 165 Church Street, New Haven., unless stated as meeting elsewhere.
