SnoBocce Tournament
March 28 - 2 to 4 pm
Clarke Stadium
Ward 6 - Councillor McKeen is hosting the very first ever SnoBocce Tournament and Social!
Now, I know what you might be thinking... SnoBocce? It's like plus 10 today! Have faith, the weather can turn at any moment and if not, it'll be more SlushBocce than SnoBocce. One thing is for certain, it's going to be fun!
As part of Councillor McKeen's Mental Health and Urban Isolation initiative we are hosting an open Bocce tournament on March 28, from 2-4pm at Clarke Stadium. The idea is centered around connecting people and encouraging everyone to play. A city who plays together, stays together! No experience is necessary and single players are wholeheartedly welcomed. They will partner you with a teammate and hopefully a new friend!
Councillor McKeen would like to invite you, your family and your community to join him for the event. There will be other games (if Bocce ain't your thang), prizes and food trucks. Councillor McKeen's office has created an eventbrite registration for you to share with whoever you want as well (tweets and facebook posts are greatly appreciated!)
And lastly, if you would like to help in a volunteer capacity please let them know. They need a few people to help run the bocce games and other activities.
