When will we see the green?

Join us this Sunday morning at 8 am or 10 am!  The snow is melting, the sun is shining, the clocks are not springing forward or falling back!

Sunday, March 15
Join us for the first discussion (of three!) of our Lenten Book on Sunday, March 15 following the 8 am service.  All are welcome to join in the conversation.  It will help if you have read the first five chapters.
All parish planning meeting!
Sunday March 15, following the 10 am service.

This year's beneficiary is OUR HOUSE, Westfield's home for unaccompanied teens.  Long a dream of Cathy Tansey, founder of the Kinship Fund, and Ann Lentini of Domus, Inc., Our House will provide safe and affordable housing for up to 10 young people aged 17-24.  The money we raise at the Strawberry Festival will be used to furnish the home.

The St. David's Choir loves to sing!  Join them after church on Sunday mornings to get ready for Easter!
Mrs. Margaret Addai of the Mampong Babies Home in Ghana.  Maggie and her staff care for infants whose families are temporarily unable to care for them.  Your spare change, deposited in your Lenten Mite Box, or in one of the collection jars around the church will help feed these little ones.

Walking to Find the Cure

The American Cancer Society signature event, RELAY FOR LIFE, came to Westfield last year - hurray!    TEAM ATONEMENT has been part of Relay for Life for the last eleven years.  Yes, this is our twelfth year walking (or running) to celebrate cancer survivorship, to remember those who lost the fight, to help with cancer advocacy programs, and to help support the research that will find a cure.

This year's Relay for Life event will be held once again at the Woodward Center at Westfield State University, beginning at 5:00 pm on Friday, April 17 ending on Saturday morning at 7:00 am.  At least one person from our team should be on the track at all times during the event.  Yes, that means that there is someone walking at the wee hours of the night!

WE WALK WE PRAY, FOR A CURE TODAY

Please join us.  If you can't join us, please generously pledge our walkers.  Look for our list of team members on the bulletin board!

Register online at www.relayforlife.org/wsuma  If you cannot register online, please see  Lois Coffey for a paper registration form.
