Freeway Motors, Audi Showroom Additions & Renovations
This new, 3-story, 122,000 square foot car display, storage and service building features a spiraling concrete drive ramp around a 32 foot diameter cylindrical reinforced concrete tower. Other features include a rooftop terrace, expansive green roof, and a cantilevered office mezzanine. Greenbusch consulted to the designer, Gordon Fleener Architects and provided mechanical design services.
City of Seattle Maintenance Facilities
Greenbusch assessed, through measurement, the acoustical environments of the existing Haller Lake & 805 Charles Street vehicle maintenance facilities. Identified noise sources and investigated to determine the contributions of each source and their noise signatures. The evaluation also included interviews with staff to ensure that all concerns were addressed in the study. Recommendations were developed to control noise build-up and mitigation treatment approaches to reduce noise levels from the loudest pieces of equipment and selected materials to address durability and site conditions. Greenbusch consulted to KPG.
Shoreline Community College 2900 Annex, Auto Shop / Classroom
Greenbusch consulted to Schacht Aslani Architects who served as architect for this project. The plumbing and mechanical designs for this 12,800 SF Auto Shop teaching facility and office/classroom space included ventilation and gas-fired unit heaters, a direct car exhaust system, reuse of the existing air compressor and new piping and outlets. The lower floor classrooms included reusing the existing furnace and adding a heating coil and air condensing unit. The upper floors included removing the existing multi-zone unit and replacing with natural gas heated dx cooled air handling units for each zone. Greenbusch also provided acoustical design as well, which included noise control within the auto shop space and sound separation between the shop and classroom.
Greenbusch also provides technical expertise in audio/video consulting, vertical transportation design and commissioning services.
