Spring Portraits March 23rd
Order forms for Spring Portrait purchases came home in your student's backpack on Friday, March 6. This year Lifetouch is offering Spring Portraits for those who pre-order. Please return either the order form envelope with payment enclosed, or you may order on-line. If you choose the on-line option, please print the confirmation and send it to school with your student on March 23
rd. Students with order envelopes or confirmation sheets will be photographed.
Spiritridge at Skate King March 26 6:00-8:00
Join your Spiritridge classmates and families for a fun night rollerskating at Skate King! Parents and siblings are welcome to skate, too! All skaters who come in Spiritwear will receive a treat!
Admission: $6.00 per skater includes skate rentals (cash or check made out to Spiritridge PTSA) Inline skates: $4.00 extra. Skaters may bring their own skates.

Multi-Cultural Night April 2nd
Celebrating the many cultures of Spiritridge families, this year our event will include a display of Academic Challenge paper dolls, a potluck buffet, an interactive Global Village with prizes performances from different cultures.
The Global Village needs you! Students and families will visit the Global Village to learn about different countries and cultures of our school. We need families to create displays representing personal cultures, countries you've visited, or even a country that your family may be interested in sharing! Please email Melissa at

Student Performance Registration: If your student would like perform a dance or play an instrument from a country please contact
sherylpinheiro@hotmail.com. We will take one performance per country so that we have diverse representation.
Academic Challenge Participation: The Academic Challenge activity is to decorate the paper doll template with a cultural outfit and answer a questionnaire. Detailed instructions and templates are on the web site

Auction Basket Contributions
Besides attending (ticket information coming out shortly), one way you can help is by contributing to your classroom basket. The idea is that all classrooms select a theme and families contribute items to be included in the classroom basket that will be up for bid at the auction. School & Family Fair March 11
The 2nd Annual School & Family Fair will be on Wednesday, March 11 from 6:00 to 8:15 pm at Interlake High School.
This is a district wide fair with representatives from the school district and the community which will provide families with resources for everything from summer camps/classes, childcare and human services plus so much more. There will be over 50 organizations represented and 6 parent education sessions for Pre-school to 12th grade families. More information here.
