Here's what I've been thinking about in
March.
I experimented with a daily gratitude journal (which some say may be the key to happiness - check out this site Berkeley has devoted to it), but I realized that while I'm already pretty good at being grateful, I'm not as good as expressing to friends and family that I'm grateful for them. So I decided to bring back snail mail and send out the greeting cards I had made. Now to get everyone's address without alerting them of the surprise. Ideas? If you'd like a snail mail card from me, fill out this form (and be patient, it takes longer than an email). :)
Continuing my quest to weed out clothing & possessions to those I truly care about, I sent a fashion blogger I admire a question about reselling barely worn clothes. Maybe you'll benefit as well? If you know a size 10 looking for some nice dresses, I have some.

My One Thing: Pinterest Secret Boards
When Pinterest first launched years ago, I was immediately sad that you couldn't have private "boards," where you would collect your pins / visual bookmarks. I knew having public-only content was going to be a great way to build up their network, but I had a million projects I wanted to work on in private.
You can now have unlimited secret boards, and I use them as a great place to gather visual brainstorming, inspiration, and images around a certain topic, even something as mundane as collecting inspiring recipes! And you can share your secret boards and allow collaborators to pin on it as well, so that means you can collaborate visually and privately. There are endless applications for this, from creating a vision board for decorating ideas or wardrobe brainstorming, to collecting resources in a visual way around any idea or venture.
If you use Chrome, don't forget to install the Pin It! button extension to make things easy to pin.
Here's a peek at one of my secret boards below. Get started on Pinterest with a secret board!

To Be Read: Productivity, Management, and Finance Books on the Nightstand
I’m a pretty voracious reader, though I used to read a lot more fiction than I have been recently. It wasn’t uncommon for me to read 150-200 novels a year, but I wanted to share some non-fiction books I’ve been enjoying lately in the business, finance, and management arenas.

Part 2 of my love affair with David Lebovitz and his book My Paris Kitchen, is this green olive tapenade. Super simple, super forgiving, and it makes you look like a first-rate host when you have it sitting out for guests.
