Boise City Championship, Twilight Leagues, Learn to Golf Package

The golf season is off to a great start. Beautiful weather has allowed the golf season to be in full swing since the beginning of March.
Boise City Championship
The Boise City Championship will be held at Warm Springs Golf Course on April 18 and 19. This in an individual stroke play tournament open to all players (Men and Women) with a current IGA membership. The event will be flighted by handicap. Cost is $120.00, which includes green fees, payout, and lunch on Saturday All participants must register with payment by Wednesday, April 15 by calling the Warm Springs Pro-Shop at 208-343-5661.
Twilight Leagues
Last call to sign up for Spring Twilight Leagues. Leagues begin mid- to late-April, some may already be full, but signing up as a substitute player is a great way to be involved. League are a great way to play golf at least once per week and to meet other golfers.
Quail Hollow Leagues:
Ladies Twilight League - Tuesday evenings starting on April 28, 2-lady best-ball format, 5:30 pm start
Men's Twilight League - Thursday evenings starting on April 16, 2-man best-ball format, 5:30 pm start
Warm Springs Leagues:
Men's Monday Twilight - Monday evenings starting on April 27, 2-man alternating formats, 6:00 pm start
Men's Tuesday Twilight - Tuesday evenings starting on April 28, 4-man match play, 6:00 pm start
Ladies Twilight - Wednesday evenings starting on April 15, 2-lady best-ball, 5:45 pm start
Learn to Golf Package - $99.00
Have you wanted to learn to golf but feel the sport is too expensive and time consuming? The City of Boise is happy to provide an affordable adult learn to golf package at a rate of $99.00 This package can be purchased through Quail Hollow or Warm Springs Golf Courses. The package includes: three 1-1/2 hour golf lessons (Quail Hollow Lessons or Warm Springs Lessons), five tokens for range balls, two rounds of golf (after 4;00 pm on Friday/Saturday/Sunday) and use of rental equipment while at the golf course. Use of card will be valid at location where lessons are taken.
Demo Days
As the golf season is starting up, the equipment manufacturers are releasing their 2015 product lines. Many of the reps for these companies visit golf courses so you can test the new line out at our driving ranges. This is a great opportunity to try new clubs at the driving range rather than in a store! Additional dates with other manufacturer reps may be scheduled - watch our Facebook pages for updates!

Hole-in-One's
Joe Cullen aced Hole # 18 (172 yards with a 7-wood) at Warm Springs on March 8; witnessed by Ray Jones and Tom Hartfield.
Rich Allen aced Hole # 8 (160 yards with an 8-iron) at Warm Springs on March 10; witnessed by Steve Brewer, Jason Brewer and Tim Walton
