E-news: A special two-for-one CD offer this week, and more

Just a reminder: We have today and tomorrow (Monday & Tuesday) remaining in our special TWO-FOR-ONE CD OFFER!

IN CASE YOU'D STILL LIKE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS, IT'S IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT, TUESDAY, MARCH 10.

There are several ways you can order, really, and make sure we know what free CD(s) you'd like sent:

1) Order one CD on our website through the Paypal system (which also takes credit cards), and
in the final window tell us --- in the 'Instructions to merchant' box --- the title you'd like as the second free one

2) Order one CD on our website through the Paypal system (which also takes credit cards), then e-mail us through 'contact us' to tell us the titles of free CDs.

3) Call us at 757-746-8899 to give a credit card number and tell us the titles.

4) Call or e-mail us and tell us a check is in the mail, and tell us the titles.

You'll pay only for the first one and its shipping cost, and we'll toss the second one into the package with it!
There's no limit to the number of CDs you can order this way (e.g., order multiple copies to save on shipping, or combo deals, and just ask for the comparable number of free ones to match the number ordered).

Again, this offer is in effect until midnight, March 10, 2015.

Here's the link to our website's discography page.

NEW: In the past two days, we made a couple more informal videos, this time as StringWind Trio: Ann Robinson, Phil Skeens, and Timothy Seaman.  They're favorites of ours, 'Child Grove' (similar to the version on the album Celebration of Centuries) and 'Far Away' by Peter Jung.

ALSO NEW: Timothy will be traveling from Williamsburg, Virginia, to the Chicago, Illinois area around April 9-11, 2015, and back around April 13 or 14 --- that's about a month from now, and he still has some open time available to schedule EVENTS along the way!  Such as lessons at your house or at a rendezvous point, or performances like house concerts or at other small venues.

The northern route includes the Washington area, western northern Virginia, south central Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh, northern Ohio, northern Indiana; the southern route includes the Route 64 corridor west to Charleston, West Virginia, then across southern Ohio and to Dayton and Indianapolis. Timothy will be able to determine which route he takes each direction on the basis of requests!  If you'd like to set something up in either of those time ranges, let us know what you're thinking!  757-746-8899 or timothyseaman@gmail.com

Again, we've begun to give lessons via Skype! If you'd like to study hammered dulcimer or perhaps another instrument with Timothy but live far away from Williamsburg, Virginia, it's now possible on-line.  Give us a call at 757-746-8899, or e-mail us at timothyseaman@gmail.com to discuss it.

And we hope very soon to start a new recording project!  It will be new instrumental versions of well-known hymns, done in Timothy's most dynamic and creative ensemble manner, though some will be solos similar to these informal videos of 'Behold the Lamb of God' (not so well known) and 'When I Survey the Wondrous Cross.'

At the start we will set up a 'crowdfunding' campaign to ask for financial support up front in exchange for various incentives, a popular format often used these days to generate the needed funds for a worthy project.  We'll let you know as soon as it's under way!

In the meantime, if you have any ideas or suggestions, let us know --- it's our own artistic framework, but we listen to our listeners as well!

One small reminder:  If you would like to forward this e-mail to a friend, please use the link at the bottom to do so.  (The regular kind of forwarding may unsubscribe you... You know, cyber oddness...)
I'll be at more dulcimer festivals than ever before during this year, plus a wide variety of other public events.  At this point, we're planning on being in Tennessee, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, West Virginia, New York, and of course Virginia! As always, we work daily to keep the website schedule current.  We hope to see you at an event in your area!

Remember the services we offer:

--- Lessons
--- Concerts
--- Weddings
--- Background music for receptions, parties, etc.
--- Workshops
--- Wholesale distribution (if you're a retailer, ask us!)
--- Studio and on-location recording

May you have a blessed late winter and early spring!

Timothy Seaman
