Group Leaf Matters

Welcome to the First Issue of Group Leaf Matters

We’ll bring you news of our clients, our philosophies, our travels and even our offbeat observations. We’ll remain timely, but not obtrusive.

As with any newsletter, feel free to click Unsubscribe if you want to reduce email clutter. We won’t be offended.

But instead of unsubscribing, we'd be more pleased if you were to contact us to discuss any upcoming communication needs you have, or suggest us to someone with whom we might be a good fit. Referrals are our lifeblood.

Best wishes,
Greg Leaf

Client Profiles

MetaFarms Inc.

MetaFarms is the newest client at Group Leaf. After years of keeping in touch with MetaFarms at trade shows, the call to compete for the business arrived and we earned the business against a field of worthy competitors.

The undisputed leader in livestock production web-based software technology, MetaFarms wanted a major brand update involving its website, corporate brochure, customer profile templates and trade show displays. With about three months before the first needs, the Group Leaf agency team quickly engaged to the satisfaction of the client on all fronts – creativity, positioning, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

"Group Leaf came through and delivered our project on budget while under a tight timeline. We are very pleased with their service," stated Lisa Butler, MetaFarms Account Executive, Sales.

The proof of our contribution is shown, in part, by the numerous positive comments MetaFarms has received by its audiences who truly noticed the brand tune-up. In fact, the work implies bigger and better things to come from MetaFarms. Mission accomplished!

Team Profiles

Laura Rapp, Designer

Laura Rapp joined Group Leaf as a summer intern in 2011, after several previous misfires with creative interns. She proved to be so promising in terms of creativity, reliability and responsiveness that clients and agency management soon became big fans. When Laura graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, she immediately gained full-time status and continues to impress clients and work well with our teams.

Be There or Be Square

We always are amazed at how few agencies send their client teams to important trade shows. The reasons for attending are many–showing clients you care, learning more about clients' industries, meeting media editors and sales teams, introducing ourselves to prospective new clients, and eating trade show hot dogs (well, maybe not that last one so much).

In one week this January, Group Leaf had tired feet on the ground at the International Production and Processing Expo (poultry and feed) in Atlanta, the Iowa Pork Congress in Des Moines, and the AHR Expo (air conditioning, heating and refrigeration industries) in Chicago.

And we just spent a few days at both the 2015 Commodity Classic in Phoenix and the 26th Annual MOSES Organic Farming Conference, coordinating with the press, out-hustling other PR types and getting media interviews.
