Student Show of Comic Arts
We're excited to invite Juneau K-12 students to exhibit at the Alaska Robotics Gallery during our annual
Student Show of the Comics Arts. We have a fairly loose interpretation of "comic art" and will accept character designs, fan art, panels, pages, editorials or any other piece which the student feels might suit the show.
Submissions are due April 1st. Please include a completed submission form along with your wall ready piece of art.
The student show will open First Friday, April 3rd and be displayed through the month of April. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Pieces of Eight!
Texas based artist
Jen Rose will be featured in the gallery on May 1st. Jen's show, "
Divisible by Eight," involves hundreds of porcelain tentacles protruding from the walls and should be quite the scene!
Emerald City Comic Con
Aaron and I will be exhibiting at Emerald City Comic Con this week in Seattle! We're in booth 106 and will be sharing space with Marian Call, Molly Lewis and Lone Shark Games. If you're in the area, we hope you'll come by and say hello!
