Irish Real Estate Forum, 2015
"The Emergence of Dublin as one of Europe’s top investment and development prospects, and opportunities for Asian investors and developers"
Thursday, April 16th, Conrad Centennial Hotel, 12 - 2pm
Following years of recession, 2013 - 2014 has witnessed a tremendous upsurge in activity in the real estate sector in Ireland, dominated by US funds pursuing investment opportunities. Despite this upsurge in activity, supply in Ireland remains severely constrained as the market has been starved of commercial property development over the past seven years, resulting in high rates of returns and significant development opportunities for those entering the Irish market.
There has been increased Asian interest in Irish commercial real estate in 2014 and Ireland is likely to see further investor and developer interest in 2015.
This event will consider the Irish commercial property market, discuss potential opportunities for Asian investors and developers in Ireland, and analyse certain tax structures and benefits. The event will highlight the emergence of Dublin as one of Europe’s top investment and commercial property development prospects for Asian investors.
Speakers:
Andrew Gunne, CEO Chartered Land (Dublin)
Padraic Whelan, Head of Real Estate and Infrastructure Group, Deloitte (Dublin)
Gerard Whitty, Director ASEAN & Taiwan, IDA Ireland (Singapore)
