Be nobody.
Be nothing.
Be empty.
No identity.
“To my greatest student, my highest teaching is, be empty, no identity.”
— Sri Mooji
The truth of it is, that you are already nobody, nothing, empty, even if you haven’t discovered this directly for yourself yet.
Be businessless.
“The businessless person has nothing to do, nowhere to go.”
— Zen Master Linji
Be like this.
Businessless.
Do you know the saying “mind your own business“? Don’t even mind your own business. Mind nobody’s business. This is the state of the businessless one.
Stay like this. It takes no effort.
To be businessless is effortless, it is to be nobody.
No identity.
No agenda.
Remain like this, in this effortless state of being.
“According to Master Linji, the businessless person is someone who doesn't run after enlightenment or grasp at anything, even if that thing is the Buddha.
This person has simply stopped.
The businessless person is the true person inside each one of us.”
— Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh
Have nothing to do.
Be nobody.
This is your true nature, your true position, your essential being.
This is not a state.
This is not a place.
This is beingness itself.
Effortless being.
Simply present.
Being.
Breathing is simply happening.
There is nobody breathing, yet breathing is taking place.
There is nobody seeing, yet seeing is taking place.
“Eyes cannot see you. You are the source of sight.”
— Rumi
There is nobody listening, yet hearing is taking place.
There is nobody being aware, yet awareness is here.
You may ask, how is this possible? Don’t ask. Awareness is not asking any questions. Awareness is simply awareness, being nobody. There is nobody being aware.
Be nobody.
If you sense someoneness arising, look to where it is arising from.
It is arising from a greater space. A limitless space, timeless.
Be here, there is nobody here.
This is who you are.
“Deep inside,
there is nothing,
nobody,
no matter how far I dig,
no matter how long I search.
Only truth.”— Bhagavati
There’s nothing to do.
Stop trying.
What would a nobody need to do?
Forget about everything.
Be nobody.
Love,
Bhagavati
