Escape to Norfolk Island

Sandra Barclay-Graham visited Norfolk Island recently and was pleasantly surprised by this gem.  Air New Zealand fly direct to Norfolk Island from Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland, connecting with gateways in Australia with their alliance partner Virgin Australia.
The island offers many different experiences catering for most with over 70 different experiences and tours suitable for singles, couples, adventure seekers, nature lovers, historians, fishermen, golfers, food lovers and families.
There are various types of accommodation on the island from B&B's to Hotels and Resorts, including the Paradise Hotel & Resort

Did you know that Norfolk Island has the only UNESCO World Heritage Golf Course, is one of the most scenic in the world and also the cheapest at AUD70 for a week?  There are no traffic lights on the island and the only roundabout was built in 1998. To top the list of the road rules, cows, chickens and ducks have right of way on the road. Read more....

Small Ships, Big Adventures
Small Ship Charters
Our presentation evening with Aaron Russ about small ship charters and guided tours to remote destinations was very successful. An expedition guide for over 20 years he was able to excited everyone with the adventures that are available and his photography was incredible.
Galapagos with friends
Aaron talked about many of the destinations that are available, but the Galapagos excited most of us.  There are many differing size of vessels available in the region, but Aaron's suggestion was chartering your own for friends and family. The smallest of these boats with a private guide can sleep 16 (only 8 couples)
Expeditions to the Polar Regions
Cruising to the Arctic or Antarctica is made all the more enjoyable if you have the opportunity to get up close to the wildlife. Expedition ships allow this and with the expert knowledge of your expedition leader you can achieve the most out of your adventure.
If you are interested in experiencing a private chartered guided tour to the Galapagos, the Med, the Amazon or many other amazing destinations then contact us. You'll be surprised how easy it is to get a few friends together to charter your own vessel.
Incredible India

The Incredible India Roadshow visited Auckland last week showcasing Indian Tourism in it's finest.  Most of us are aware of the Golden Triangle, but India is a very large country with many different regions, all of which have things to offer the adventurous and not so adventurous travelers. Scotland – Destination dining

Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink. Some of Scotland’s best dining experiences are found in the remotest of locations, including the Isle of Eriska in Argyll and The Three Chimneys on the Isle of Skye, both recent recipients of Michelin stars. The Old Forge in north westerly Knoydart serves superb food but is accessible only by boat, seaplane or helicopter; travelling there is a huge part of the fun. Other far-flung eateries we love include Badachro Inn and Lochleven Seafood Café.
