Bath Book Fair

First call for the Bath Fair in four weeks time! - Here’s some preliminary information

I’m finalising times for get in with The Assembly Rooms so full notes will follow soon, the Fair opens at 10,30 am and runs until 4.30 pm.

The cheapest way to manage parking is to use the park and ride, once you have unloaded drive up to Lansdown - away from the centre of town and towards the M4 - The park and ride is about five minutes away and the bus to bring you back down the hill runs every 10 or 15 minutes and stops within two minutes walk of The Assembly Rooms.

The Fair currently has 33 Exhibitors booked, if you think of anyone who might be tempted to exhibit please let me know! - we shall be using The Ballroom (largest of the three rooms) with entry to the middle of the ballroom.

The standard pitch is one table (holds two folding sets of shelves) and space for one stack Once I have talked to Assembly Rooms, it may be possible to offer extra table top space for a few exhibitors (or space for a second stack) - this would be for a modest extra fee.

With a limited budget, we cannot afford to pay for cloakroom facilities for people to deposit bags, so attendees will be allowed to carry bags into the Fair with them.

I still plan to have one porter available.

I will send most information and copies of complimentary tickets and publicity material by email, hoping that you will be able to print your own, or direct customers to the complimentary ticket available on the website.

We are well under way with the promotion of the Fair but please can you help with publicity however you can.
