Sharing Experiences in Arms Control:
From Buenos Aires to Sarajevo

In 2013, Argentina's National Programme for the Voluntary Surrender of Firearms won the 2013 Silver Future Policy Award. Together with UNDP's 'Choose Life Without Weapons' coalition, which has made great strides in reducing the number of firearms in Bosnia-Herzegovina, we brought together policy-makers from each country to review lessons learnt and witness the melting of weapons in Banja Luka. By exchanging experiences and examining best practice, we hope both countries can make further strides in creating safer societies. Check out the pictures of the event here!
