Spring Training Conference 2015
 Registration is now open for our spring training conference The Gift of the Stranger: Creating Spaces Where Strangers Become Friends. Join us for this full-day conference on April 18, 2015 at Foothills Alliance Church. This year we are offering two streams of breakout sessions. One stream focuses on practical ways to create welcoming spaces, the other focuses on strategies and techniques for the ESL classroom.
We are blessed to have Elfrieda Lepp-Kaethler join us as our plenary speaker. Dr. Lepp-Kaethler is the Assistant Professor of TESOL at Providence University College & Theological Seminary in Otterburn, Manitoba. She will be speaking about Hosts and Guests in Language Teaching and The Hospitable Classroom.
Other speakers include:
- Hannah Dissen, ESL instructor at C.A.R.E., Red Deer
- Matt Dissen, ESL instructor at C.A.R.E., Red Deer
- Rebecca Shinduke, ACE Trainer, Mount Royal University
