Thank You Madison!

We are sending this email to thank everyone who supports LetsKeepBuilding. Your support is what made this past Saturday's LKB Mixer possible. The event showcased people who are building something awesome for the Madison community. We are excited to build events and community projects in Madison (WI), New York (NY) and Greensboro (NC).

Here is the recap!

We brought in the LKB letters.
#LetsKeepBuilding

Spreading goodness!
Garrett Lee presented his startup, Good Point. Good Point is a win+win game that aims to recreate social life by building positive feedback networks that recognize, reward, and reinforce good deeds. Do something good and both people are rewarded with good points. In the near future you will be able to use those points to purchase products.
We released the LKB Good Point cards!
Expect to see Good Point cards at LKB events.
#BeMadison
JJ Pagac is working with the city of Madison on a project that will showcase the beauty of Madison by bringing together some awesome photos.
The cause
This event also raised funds for Reach A Child. Reach A Child partners with local First Responders (whether a police officer, a firefighter or an EMT) to supply each vehicle with a REACH BAG — complete with 10 children’s books and 10 drawstring backpacks — which the First Responders keep in their vehicles to bring out when they encounter children-in-crisis.
100state of Mind!
Support from 100state members.
The photographer won a shirt!
Shout out the photographer who took all the awesome photos. His name is Naku Mayo. He is a member of the 100state community. See more event photos.
Let's party!
Rokker Vodka gave out sample shots for guest.
Transportation downtown.
Matt Brueggeman, the co-founder of Flux Mopeds, showed us how we can change the way we think about transportation in downtown Madison. He brought in his 100% electric mopeds.

Also check out this auction going on right now for a moped!

The taste of community building!

Women empowerment!
Taylar Barrington showcased her lifestyle brand, Maverick Hill. Impassioned by the statement “Well-behaved women seldom make history”*, MaverickHill™ is a lifestyle empowerment brand for college women everywhere.

Their next event, "The Lipstick Circle," is April 11th. LKB is a media sponsor :)
