MARCH 2015 NEWSLETTER 
This will be our last snow this year, right?!?!   

Apparently winter can't resist a last laugh, and we are expected to get snow tomorrow! Which would make it hard to see trash to pick up on our first-full-day-of-spring Early Spring Cleanup, scheduled for Saturday. We will make a snow-cover call by 8pm Friday - we may use our Sunday "rain date" to allow Saturday's warmer temperatures to melt off some snow! We'll post our decision on our website and Facebook, and if we change the date, we'll also send a short email bulletin. Either day, meet us at 9:00 at the main entrance - see our website for details, and please reply to this email to RSVP if you plan to attend. 

Site Development Plans for Glen Providence Park

Public input is needed for Delaware County’s draft proposals for Glen Providence Park! Delaware County Planning has put a lot of work into its Open Space, Recreation, and Greenway Plan, and is nearing the end of its 3-year planning process. You can provide input in written comments until April 19, or at a March 30 public meeting. Please review the plan and share your feedback with the County - there are details and links on our website.

2015 Citizen Science Project

And the winnner is... Tree Mapping! We had a great response to our survey, and Tree Mapping had the most votes. We will be sending information soon to those who expressed interest in working on this project with us. If you would like to be included but did not complete the survey, please reply to this email.

2015 Events!

Mark your calendars for our full 2015 Schedule of Events, including nature walks, volunteer events, citizen science, and activities for kids!
