Last Sunday Pastor Grant officially wrapped up our recent series called "Skin in the Game" which focused on what we believe is God’s mission and vision for Clay Center Covenant. I’m excited to see how God uses these messages to lead us through the rest of 2015 and in the years to come! However, there’s one word that we cannot avoid - even if we wanted to - when we talk about the church: people.
That’s the good and the bad news, all at once! It’s not a mistake that the church is a gathering of people - God knew what He was doing. The truth that the church is composed of baggage carrying and sin-prone people is not something that slipped God’s mind! He wants to move in us and through us by His Holy Spirit in a way that is so radically different than anything the world around us has ever seen that they are drawn to it like a child to candy! His attraction of choice: forgiveness.

Church Directory Photo Opportunity
We are excited to announce plans to print a quality church photo directory later this year! Many of you have submitted a photo for the church management system, but we have heard from many who don’t have a recent quality photo to submit. To fill this need, Phil Frigon is offering his gift of photography to take a professional photo of you and your family.
If you would like to take advantage of this FREE opportunity to have a professional photo taken for the church directory and church management system, sign up in the Church Parlor beginning THIS SUNDAY for a time slot on
Sunday, March 29 or
Sunday, April 19. One pose will be taken per family and you will be emailed your photo for personal use as well.

Children Sing on Palm Sunday

- The Sunday School children in grades K-5 will sing on Palm Sunday, March 29, during the 9:00a and 11:15a Worship Services. Under the direction of Laurie Larson, the children are currently practicing during the Sunday School opening time.
