Marty's Message

The basic college education typically happens within a curriculum and between walls of a classroom. However, a rich college experience happens alongside and in addition to the curriculum. Activities such as undergraduate research, community involvement, study abroad, work study employment, participation in student organizations, activities, government and intramurals, band, cheerleading and athletics–each play a valuable role in the college experience.

Such was the case this past weekend for 13 student-athletes, band members and student fans who brought home a NCAA III national basketball title from Salem, Virginia. This is an unforgettable experience that will leave a positive and lasting impact on our students' lives.

Below are the team members  and their majors–many of them are your students. Please take the time to congratulate each of them on a job well done!
