Qi Gong (pronounced Chi Gong) is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. Qi stands for energy or life force that flows through all things in the universe. Gong means work. Qi Gong simply means doing energy work. Qi Gong exercises also activate the entire 14 major meridian systems that covers over 600 medians in the body.
Qi Gong movements are gentle, easy to follow, yet have been proven to improve energy, circulation, digestion, elimination, immune function, as well as flexibility, joint mobility/stability, balance, co-ordination and muscle strength.
