Established in 1991, The Morrison Group was originally located on Classen Boulevard in Oklahoma City with a separate warehouse several miles away. In December 2008, the privately held branding and distribution company moved to its current Edmond location at 3601 S. Broadway. The move allowed the company to consolidate its office and ware house space in one location. And shortened the commute time for a large number of the staff!
The Morrison Group aims to continually upgrade its branding solutions for the convenience store industry. Through new innovations in Point of Purchase (POP) product offerings the company can help individual convenience store proprietors compete with big box competitors. The company is in the final stages of incorporating LED lighting within several of its standard signage systems along with many additional new research and development projects.
The Morrison Group ships so much ground product that it was the first FedEx customer in the state of Oklahoma to have a regular drop trailer at its dock.
In summer 2014, The Morrison Group won a major contract with J.M. Smucker's Company to design and distribute various products for the Folgers, Cafe Bustelo and Java Coast coffee brands. In October 2014, the company launched its new marketing tagline "Branding Made Convenient" and a new responsive website at the NACS show in Las Vegas. With this new responsive web design, customers can now access the website and shop online via smart phones or tablets. Site visitors can also view photos of past branding solutions designed by the company.
The company's creative capabilities continue to flourish into new markets beyond the convenience store industry. While every customer request is unique, The Morrison Group prides itself on finding innovative ways to meet customer needs. For instance, the company developed a custom dispenser display for Orange Leaf's patented spoons that incorporated loyalty program cards, making the program more visible to the consumer. Each new challenge allows the company to grow its capabilities.
