Lesson 600: Why Should We Love God? Pt.1

God is the source of all blessings. He has forgiven our sin, so that we spend eternity in heaven. But even during our life on earth, He heals illness, provides for our needs, satisfies our desires, and leads us with wisdom in paths of righteousness. Even as we sin against Him.

Psa.103:1-5,8,11,17 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good…

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love… as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him…

the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children's children

Isa.53:5-6 he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

About This Series

The goal of this series is to become more useful in serving the Lord Jesus Christ, as an instrument in the Redeemer's hand. The theme verses for the series are Ephesians 4:22-24, Philemon 11, 2 Timothy 2:21

- to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,
- and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
- Formerly he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you and to me.
- Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work
