Hello,

Sorry for the two months silence, I´ve been very busy with my last tour and other delayed projects. Many info at once, have fun !

C-drík

News.

Two new CD´s will be published on Syrphe in August or early September, they should have been out earlier, time flies... :
  • The first one is a cd of a unique collective from Myanmar (Burma) : Burmélange, the band composes some music that oscillates between post-industrial, post-punk and improvisation ; we are working on the cover now with a great artist from Berlin, they are going to be printed by hand (linocut).

The second one is a solo album by C-drík that was composed during an art residency at the Hospital of Malévoz in Monthey, Switzerland around February and March 2015. The concept was to let some volunteers listen to a variety of field records I made in the past few years around the globe and ask and record them telling me a story or describe their emotions or memories popping up, some of those stories or portions of them have been selected and recomposed as electro-acoustic tracks.

More details and links soon !

  • A new album by Tasjiil Moujahed will be published later too but due to various circumstances it is postponed, we are going to work on a few more songs before publishing it.

  • Folio Volume 5-6 (2013-2014) published by Kibla is out now, on paper version (you can pick a free copy at Kibla in Maribor, Slovenia) and digital. From page 56, you can find my essay An introduction to electroacoustic, noise and experimental music in Africa and Asia / Uvod v elektroakustično, noise in eksperimentalno glasbo Azije in Afrike in English and Slovene. And plenty of other interesting articles and pictures. You can also download the essay alone (without illustrations) on Academia.
