We welcome new SHAC members
The Student Health Advisory Council welcomed 22 new members in March. Sindecuse employees met with the energetic group over ice cream sundaes on the first day of spring and got to know these impressive, diverse students. Council members represent student voices at the health center and promote health across campus.

Refresh for spring
Friendly staff members at the WMU Sports Medicine Clinic are ready to help you prepare for spring. Need to see an orthopedic physician? Don't wait for an appointment in the community when you can see the specialists who serve as Bronco team doctors here on campus. WMU employees with insurance (PPO Group #007005281) enjoy no copay for most visits. Call (269) 387-3248 for more information.
Diversity and inclusion initiative
In 2014 a group of Sindecuse employees and students working on issues of inclusion, diversity and accessibility at the health center secured grants from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. The assessment phase is complete and implementation steps are underway, including health center-wide participation in the Intercultural Development Inventory. A progress report was shared with the campus community at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Racial Healing Symposium on Mar. 20 and is on display in our lobby.
