Happy Wednesday Gorgeous
I appreciate we emailed you last week but we thought it best to squeeze in another before the school holidays start - when time for oneself seems to leap out the window! Of course we appreciate many of our members don't have children or they've moved out and other than better traffic flows at peak times, it's business as usual; consider this a bonus issue.
I was saddened to receive an email from a young 21 year old who from the age of 15 had been bullied about her weight, leaving her years later with insecurities and lots of self-doubt. I wrote an article Fight the Bullies which I encourage you to share with young people in your lives.
This week we also share some further highlights from Autumn Winter collections, this time with a focus on sizes 14+. How women feel about themselves and their body has a direct correlation to their level of intimacy. Do you enjoy intimacy with your partner or do you do everything to avoid it? We share ways to help you feel sexy and even more gorgeous, and get you in the mood. There are gold nuggets on those sales racks and in vintage stores, beyond the obvious. Are you missing out? We also follow up with the gorgeous Penny, whose makeover from blonde to brunette wowed us all.
Makeover Delayed
It appears the timing of our forthcoming makeover was lousy, smack bang in the middle of school holidays! We have decided to delay our next makeover and will announce a new date and new competition soon.

We mentioned last time that we're open for business in Auckland, which sent a few of our Wellington fans into a bit of spin. Yes, we're still running styling appointments in Wellington too, we just run a booking system, for other centres too. Contact us if you'd like an appointment.
A Funny Thing Happened
Last week I took my computer hard-drive in to be fixed - it died on me. I asked the technician to preserve the file "Gorgeous Me" if nothing else. He later said, "by the way, I don't look in peoples files when I work on their computers". What? He was wondering what a file called "Gorgeous Me" actually contained, to him it suggested something of a private nature!!!! Blokes!
