New Property Managers in the Making?

We had the exciting arrival of our daughter Harper in the New Year so the last few months have been an incredible journey. With her already easy going nature and her sisters no nonsense attitude I may have two great Property Managers in the making!
I am now officially back from maternity leave after a great transition from full time mum (well still full time mum) to property manager. Many of my clients have already been in contact so if you do wish to touch base please feel free to email or call me.

I also want to say a special thank you to Kate Coster for taking care of things so well for me while I was on maternity leave, everything ticked over very smoothly and I was able to relax and enjoy my time with Harper.

Daylight Savings and Smoke Alarms

With daylight savings upon us this Easter weekend, this is a great opportunity to be reminded of the importance of smoke alarms and ensuring the batteries have been changed in the past six months. Landlords, please have a think about this in particular for your investment, I know many of you have supplied smoke alarms in your properties already. If you haven’t but would like to, please call or email me and I can arrange this on your behalf.

Let's Get Ready for Winter
Cyclone Pam was a timely reminder that the weather can take a huge toll on buildings and property. With Auckland weather being notoriously unpredictable now is the time to ensure your investment and your own home is ready for Winter. We suggest getting roofs checked and gutters cleared to prevent any leaks and dampness. It’s also a good time to make sure any loose areas of your decks, fences and exteriors are secure so nothing can come lose in strong wind and become dangerous. Please contact us if you would like the roof and gutters on your investment checked before Winter.
As it gets colder it’s also the time to get your chimneys swept for Winter. As part of our property management service we automatically have all chimneys swept for our managements this time of year to ensure there is no fire hazard and to check that the fireplace is still safe to use.

2015 The Year of Growth
Last year I engaged the fantastic services of Fiona Clark from Breakthrough Business Solutions.
This is was my first step in taking All About Property Management to the next level by using a business advisor who could help me see the big picture and really help grow by business. All of my landlords were very willing to provide me with testimonials and also help me understand what All About Property Management’s Point of Difference really is. As a result of knowing what it is we do best, we’ve already seen business increase and we have become more client focused, as it really is All About You!
